Characters

A few screenies of my favorite characters of late.  Been trying to dream up some stories for these guys....

First up is Big Guy.  He was last seen in the office scene from Lonely.  Here I've fancied up his outfit.  Love his physique and his hair.  He would definitely make a great protagonist.

Next up is Scout Troupe #9.  Scout leader is played by the skinny old man from "Hail to Thee" (its still going well...still hoping to wrap it up in March...thanks for asking).  The three boys are all new to acting.  After looking around the Daz and RL marketplace for teen boys (creepy) I decided to create these boys from scratch and I'm really happy with the results.

Finally, here's your humble servant (me) complete with covid beard and some swanky 70s clothes.  I think I might have to get back to the thrift stores in real life cause these swanky threads make me look gooood!  Yea, I need to avoid putting myself in my stories but I like the look of this handsome devil.  Hehe.

Fleeting January

Well I failed to post here in January but rest assured I was busy (that collective sigh of relief is deafening).  I managed to stay on schedule on "Hail to Thee" by finishing the second story sequence.  Just one more to go and then a whole lot of sound design and maybe we will see a March release.

My early vibe on the results is about how I usually feel around this point of a project.  Some things are working.  Some things less so but its hard to say till I've got all the sound design in place.  Or maybe I just talk myself into thinking its ok by that time.  Either way, the project is progressing.

Freaking Out!

In other news I managed to finish a first draft of the afore mentioned Xmas noir; Gunderson   I like it a lot.  I know I'll have to get back in there and fix a fair amount of things (like the amount of times a character says "Gunderson" or "Gunny"....gotta cut that down) but I think its a good looking project to turn to after 'Hail To Thee' is complete.  It's currently a 12 page script so I'm guessing about 15 minutes in length with a lot of characters, at least 4 major speaking roles, a potential musical performance and a boatload of locations that Ill likely have to create from scratch.  Its a big project and if I got started in April I'm going to have to push hard to get it done by November/December.  Cause an Xmas noir needs to be released around Xmas.

But first things first.
