Spooky!

A writing forum I participate in is conducting a low stakes Halloween script contest so Ive managed to complete one short and I'm working on one more to finish in the next two weeks.  The completed script is about a couple of cops searching for a missing person in a Haunted House attraction.  Strangely, things do not go well.  Here's a screeny of some of the key characters for kicks!

I've been partaking of the Daz models a lot more lately.  Even signed up for the yearly Daz+ for 40$ which is already paying for itself.  Rocker girl there was a freebie and the hooded executioner was on sale for cheap.

Anywho, there's not enough time to create this in Iclone before Halloween so I might give it a shot for next year.  Always good to have drafts laying about ready to go.  However, I liked the characters and found a Daz Frankenstein freebie so I decided to make a band of these merry tricksters...

Still thinking about shooting a short cut of Frank and the Steins playing the Misfits "Halloween" but I know youtube will flag it.  Good looking punk band though.

Another project I've been working on (currently in the outline stage) mixes 1930s filmmaking and the Loch Ness Monster with Lovecraft.  Not a Halloween adventure but has some fun spooky elements.  Here's an early version of H.P. and another Daz asset I got on sale.  Non human characters are not the easiest thing to animate in Iclone but doable.  Here's hoping this one will advance as its seems like a fun little tale.

I might have a few more details on that second Halloween short script in the works if I can get it down on paper.  In my head its aces.  On the paper its often not so we shall see.
